The rooms at Agora Kyoto Shijo are simply delightful. They are cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning to keep you cool. The free WiFi is a great bonus, allowing you to stay connected. Plus, the safes provide peace of mind for your valuables. I felt right at home here as a guest.
I personally didn't care for the telephone in the rooms. It's just not something I use often while traveling.

The hotel was a useful base for enjoying a busy area, just next door to the centre and restaurants and tourist places. The rooms were brand-new with 2 separate beds, the staff were pretty friendly: D

Not only did the amenities meet my needs as a solo traveler, but the staff provided excellent service, facilitating the shipment of my luggage to my next location. The location was convenient and easy to access from multiple stations. The breakfast choices were great, and the staff even provided the option of a Western breakfast upon request.

I had a great stay at Agora Kyoto Shijo. The location was perfect, close to Shijo station and only two stops away from Kyoto train station. The room had a modern chic look and feel, making it very cosy and inviting. I loved the little touches of design, like the SONY speakers and coffee kettle in the room. The staff were incredibly helpful, and there was even a self-help bar with drinks and tea in the lobby. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Agora Kyoto Shijo.

The room was clean and spacious enough for Japanese standards. We appreciated the free drinks offered in the lobby. The hotel's convenient location made it easy to get around and explore the city.
There were a few small cosmetic issues in the room, such as apparent dust and a stain on the floor mat. We also noticed a cigarette smell near the elevators.

Found the hotel to be well-located, between a couple of train stations which were easy to get to. the room was spotless and had everything we needed. The hotel had a self-help bar with drinks and tea which was a nice touch.
Our reservation for two separate beds was not fulfilled and instead, the room only had one bed. the room was small and the harmonica door separating the bathroom was inconvenient.

The Counter Seats at Night: I found myself chatting and laughing with the locals of Kyoto at the open bar, feeling like I was partaking in a lively symphony of stories and drinks.

I wish that the café had better ambiance and a bit of music to enhance the atmosphere.
